COMFORT ADVISOR

Mac-Vik Plumbing, Heating, Cooling and Electrical is a Golden, CO-based company that provides a wide range of products and services to the industrial equipment and automation markets. We provide solutions for everything from the initial equipment purchase through service and support. We are currently looking for a qualified Sales Representative to build on our sales growth record in the industrial equipment industry.

OBJECTIVES

  • Prospect potential customers by cold calling, networking and emailing them about our products and services.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers by working with them on quotes, product information, etc.
  • Work with customers to develop quotes, provide technical support, and take orders.
  • Maintain records of sales by entering all necessary information into CRM (Salesforce) system.
  • Cleaning up customer accounts after sales by fulfilling all service contracts.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Provide accurate information to customers regarding products services and availability of our company.
  • Meet or exceed established quotas on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
  • Develop new business by entering new customers into database and making cold calls to set up appointments for the customers to see our products and discuss their needs.
  • Develop new business by entering new orders into database and sending out emails about orders to existing customers.
  • Develop new business by networking with other companies in the industry.
  • Other duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES

  • Self-starter, reliable, flexibility with hours
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Be able to operate a smartphone and tablet
  • Be willing to travel out of town up to a week at a time for training
  • Possess basic and/or advanced trade experience preferred
  • Present and communicate professionally (written and verbal)
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Associate Degree preferred, but not required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license and clean driving record

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, sitting, or walking
  • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
  • Will be in proximity to hazardous conditions, equipment, and situations
  • Employees may be exposed to moderate levels of noise and wildlife - birds, rodents, etc. (living and/or dead)
  • Wear safety attire, such as goggles or other protective clothing
  • Could be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are uncomfortable and distracting
  • Work in high or elevated places

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
